CTET 2024 Important Dates
The CTET July 2024 notification was released on 7 March 2024 and the online applications were invited from 7 March to 5 April 2024. The exam city was released on 24 June 2024. The CTET Admit Card 2024 has been released on 5 July 2024 for the CTET exam to be held on 7 July 2024.
CTET 2024 Eligibility
The CTET exam is conducted for two levels i.e. Primary Teacher (PRT) (Level-1)- Class I-V Teachers and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)- Level-2 (Class 6-8 Teachers). The eligibility for the CTET Level-1 exam is 12th Pass + D.Ed/ JBT/ B.El.Ed./ B.Ed. and the eligibility for the CTET Level-2 exam is Graduation + B.Ed./ B.El.Ed.
CTET Exam Pattern 2024
There will be no negative marking in the CTET exam. The time duration of the exam is 2.5 hours. The CTET Level-1 and Level-2 Exam Patterns are given below:

CTET Qualifying Marks
The qualifying marks for the CTET exam are 60% i.e. 90 marks out of 150 marks for the General Category candidates. The qualifying marks for the SC, ST, and OBC category candidates are 82 marks.
CTET Certificate Validity
The Validity Period of the CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for a lifetime for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take to acquire a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified the CTET may also appear again to improve his/her score.
