Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Candidates born between 1st January 2005 and 1st July 2008 (inclusive) are eligible to apply.
• Maximum age at enrolment: 21 years.

Educational Qualification

1. Science Subjects:
   • 10+2/ Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
   • OR Diploma (Engineering) in relevant streams with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
   • OR Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics (minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English).
2. Other than Science Subjects:
   • 10+2/ Intermediate in any stream with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.

Marital Status

• Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Female candidates must undertake not to get pregnant during the 4-year engagement period.

Air Force Agniveer 01/2026 Selection Process

1. Phase-I: Online Test
   • Science Subjects: 60 minutes.
   • Other than Science Subjects: 45 minutes.
   • Both: 85 minutes.
   Marking Scheme:
   • +1 for correct answers.
   • -0.25 for incorrect answers.
2. Phase-II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
   • 1.6 km run (7 minutes for males, 8 minutes for females).
   • Push-ups, sit-ups, and squats.
3. Phase-III: Medical Examination
   • Conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF standards.
4. Adaptability Tests I & II
   • Suitability assessment for IAF operations and military lifestyle.
