Educational Qualification:
Bachelorโs degree from a recognized university with Mathematics and Physics at the 10+2 level.
Candidates with diplomas must have Physics and Mathematics in their curriculum.
Age Limit:
Born between July 1, 2000, and June 30, 2004 (inclusive).
Technical Branch
Educational Qualification:
Engineering degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
Electrical or Electronics Engineering disciplines are also eligible.

Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection comprises five stages:
Stage I: Coast Guard Common Admission Test (CGCAT):
A computer-based online screening test with 100 multiple-choice questions.
Subjects: English, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Science, Mathematics, and General Knowledge.
Stage II: Preliminary Selection Board (PSB):
Computerized Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT).
Stage III: Final Selection Board (FSB):
Psychological Test, Group Task, and Personal Interview.
Stage IV: Medical Examination:
Conducted at Base Hospital, New Delhi.
Stage V: Induction:
Training at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
