India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 Important Dates
The Indian Postal Department released the GDS Recruitment Notification on 15 July 2024 to recruit 44228 GDS, BPM, and ABPM. The last date to apply for the India Post GDS is 5 August 2024. After that, the department will release the merit list based on the 10th-class marks.
The candidates can edit/ modify their application. The India Post GDS Application Form Correction Window will be open from 6 to 8 August 2024.
India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 Application Fee
To apply for the India Post GDS Vacancy 2024, the candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS Category have to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/-. The candidates of SC, ST, and PWD categories are exempted from the payment of the application fee.

Age Limit: The age limit to apply for the India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 is 18-40 Years. The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit will be the last date of the India Post GDS Online Form i.e. 5 August 2024. The candidate belonging to the reserved categories will be given the age relaxation as per the rules.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 Selection Procedure
The selection for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) will be done based on the marks obtained in the 10th class/ matric. The state-wise/ circle-wise merit list will be prepared based on 10th class marks.
The selected candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV). After that, the medical examination will be conducted for the final successful candidates.
