The ITBP has directed the SSC to release the SSC GD Result 2024 as soon as possible so that the Physical Test (PET/ PMT) process can be started after the written exam result. As many as 4745501 candidates registered for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2024. The SSC GD Computer Based Test (CBT) exam was held from 20 February to 7 March and 30 March 2024 and now the written exam result of SSC GD is declared on 10 July 2024, at 06:30 pm.

SSC GD 2024 Important Dates
The SSC GD Constable Notification 2024 was released on 24 November 2023 and the online applications were invited from 24 November to 31 December 2023. The SSC GD CBT exam was held from 20 February to 7 March and 30 March 2024. The SSC GD Answer Key was released on 3 April 2024. Now the SSC has released the GD Constable Result on 10 July 2024. After that, the SSC GD Physical Schedule will be released. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be conducted in July-August 2024.

SSC GD 2024 Vacancy Details and Qualification
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invited the General Duty (GD) Constables 46617 posts application forms from the eligible 10th pass candidates of India. The age limit for the SSC GD constable is 18-23 years (on 1.1.2024). Both male and female candidates are eligible for SSC GD Constable Recruitment. The selection process for SSC GD Recruitment 2024 includes the following stages:
- Stage-1: CBT Written Exam

SSC GD 2024 Physical Test (PET/PMT) Details
The candidates who will qualify the written exam will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The details of the SSC GD PET and PMT are given below.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Race:
- Male candidates must complete a 5 km run in 24 minutes.
- Female candidates must complete a 1.6 km run in 8.5 minutes.
- For candidates belonging to the Ladakh region:
- Males must complete a 1.6 km run in 7 minutes.
- Females must complete an 800-meter run in 5 minutes.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Height:
- Minimum height for males: 170 cm
- Minimum height for females: 157 cm
- Relaxations for candidates belonging to specific regions and categories.
- Chest (Male Candidates Only):
- Unexpanded: 80 cm
- Minimum expansion: 5 cm
- Relaxations for specific categories.
- Weight: Your weight must be proportionate to your height and age.
