SSC MTS Exam Date 2024 Out, Schedule Notice for MTS and Havaldar 9583 Posts Written Test

SSC MTS Exam Date 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)- 2024 Exam Date on 13 August 2024 for the 4887 Posts of MTS and 3449 Posts of Havaldar in CBIC/ CBN. The SSC MTS 2024 written exam will be held from 30 September to 14 November 2024 in various shifts. The SSC MTS Exam City and Admit Card will be released in due course of time.

The SSC MTS 2024 Apply Last Date was extended until 3 August 2024. and the MTS Vacancies have increased from 4887 to 6147 making the total vacancies to 9583 Posts.

This is a combined recruitment for the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in the various departments and the Havaldar in the CBIC/CBN, Government of India. A combined Computer Based Test (CBT) exam is held for the MTS and CBIC/CBN Havaldar.

SSC MTS Exam Date 2024

The SSC MTS Exam Date 2024 is 30 September to 14 November 2024. The SSC has released the MTS Exam Date on 13 August 2024.

The SSC MTS 2024 Notification was released on 27 June 2024. The online application forms were accepted from 27 June to 3 August 2024, up to 11:00 pm. The SSC MTS 2024 written exam date is 30.9.2024 to 14.11.2024.

SSC MTS 2024 Vacancies, Eligibility

Age Limit: The age limit is 18-25 years for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue) and 18-27 years for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and a few posts of MTS. The crucial date for the calculation of the age limit is 1 August 2024.

For the SSC MTS and CBIC/ CBN Havaldar Recruitment 2024, the candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination (10th Class) or equivalent from a recognized Board as on or before the cut-off date i.e. August 1, 2024.

The SSC MTS 2024 Vacancies are 4887 and the SSC Havaldar (CBIN/CBN) Vacancies are 3439. So the total vacancies under the SSC MTS 2024 are 8326. The SSC MTS and CBIC/ CBN Havaldar vacancies of the last four years are given in the below table.

The selection procedure of the SSC MTS 2024 includes the following stages:

• Computer Based Test (CBT) Exam
• Physical Test (PET/ PST)- Only for CBIN/ CBN Havaldar
• Document Verification (DV)

SSC MTS 2024 CBT Exam Pattern

The SSC MTS 2024 Computer-Based Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages. There will be no negative marking in Session I. In Session II, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer. The detailed exam pattern of the SSC MTS exam is shown in the image below.

SSC CBIC/CBN Havaldar Physical Standards

The candidates who will pass the written exam and have opted for the CBIC/ CBN Havaldar posts, have to undergo a Physical Test. The CBIC/ CBN Havaldar Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Test (PST) details are given below.

• Height and Chest Measurement: The height requirement for the CBIC/ CBN Havaldar is 157.5 cm for Males and 152 cm for Females. Male candidates should also have a minimum chest size of 76 cm with at least 5cm expansion.
• Walking: Male candidates should also have to complete a walking test of 1.6 Km in 15 minutes. While the female candidates need to walk 1 Km in 20 minutes.
